The temperature and humidity sensor will be upgraded to a plug type and replacing this sensor will become very simple. However before the new design is available, sometimes the sensor is not operational due to various reason, and need replaced. Here is the instruciton for replacing this sensor:
Note: This accessory generally only applies to Ecowitt brand products. If you are using other brands of weather stations, please make sure to find out the wiring sequence of your weather station before purchasing this product, if the wiring sequence is different, please do not purchase, otherwise it will lead to the failure of the weather station, and we are not responsible for it!!

A little tricky to replace the sensor but my station now reports correct humidity again rather than 40% all the time. Spare part and delivery from China to the UK was under £12.00.
Replaced under hour, easy to install, all good working like new 👍👍
My help a lot.
My humidity sensor broke.
It took me approximately 1-2 hours between disassembly and reassembly.
The most delicate part was removing the glue with the help of alcohol.
Now the humidity works for me again
