WH40 Wireless Self-Emptying Rain Collector Rainfall Sensor

Not what I hoped for

The sensor was easy to install but the results are bad. The rain numbers were ridiculous. Had a lot of rain. My neighbour had more than 40 mm. The sensor showed 0.3 mm.
So I am very unhappy with my purchase. Hope Ecowitt will do something about it. Maybe the sensor is broken

WH40 Wireless Self-Emptying Rain Collector Rainfall Sensor

Really good rainfall sensor

Materials have weathered well for several years in Texas sun and hail, the battery life is excellent, the accuracy is excellent.. until it rains really hard. In central Texas, it can ran 2+ in/hr. At that rate, the sensor either can't keep up or the rain is splashing out of the collection cup. That said, I love the rainfall sensor!
