The ecowitt GW1100 is a wireless WIFI Weather Station Gateway with temperature , humidity & pressure sensors. Easy and quick configuration of Wi-Fi setup via browser based UI, receive all the ecowitt transmitter sensors, can help you set up a mini home weather station.
The difference between GW1100 and GW1200 is that the GW1200 supports connecting IoT devices, while the GW1100 does not. Apart from this, all other functions are the same.
Quick start steps:
1. Power on
2. Go to your phone WLAN or computer network, connect GW1100 AP (GW1100X-XXXXXXXX)
3. Go to your browser, enter 192.168.4.1 to open the embedded web gage
4. Login (no password needed unless you set this feature up), it will prompt you to complete WiFi router connection setup by having the SSID and its password entered.
5. Setup your preferred weather hosting services. ID and passkey need to be applied from weather services website in advance. Ecowitt net service is enabled as default, mark the MAC address and add it to your device under your account (free registration with email address).
6. Set up other functions according to your needs.
