The USB/TTL to SDI‑12 VER5.2 is a data converter designed to be used with Ecowitt’s PC software and currently only supports Windows systems. The purpose of providing this data converter along with the PC software is to allow customers to verify whether the WN90SDI communication is functioning properly. By connecting the PC, the data converter, and the WN90SDI, and then opening the PC software, the interface can display the WN90SDI data, confirming that the WN90SDI is working correctly.
Please note that the USB/TTL to SDI‑12 VER5.2 is intended only as a temporary testing tool. It is not designed for long-term use or as a development tool. Customers will need to develop their own host firmware to communicate with the WN90SDI.
