Soil Moisture Sensor Usage & Warranty Notes

1. Check the soil before installation
   Do not insert the sensor directly into hard, compacted soil or soil containing rocks, gravel, bricks, roots, or other hard objects.

2. Proper installation
   Loosen the soil or create a pilot hole using a shovel, spade, or soil auger before inserting the soil sensor vertically. Apply steady pressure and avoid excessive force.

3. Do not
   Do not force the sensor into hard soil or twist, rock, or wiggle it during installation.

4. Warranty
   If the probe encounters hard objects, applying excessive force or moving the sensor side to side may break the internal PCB and damage the sensor. Damage caused by improper installation is not covered under warranty.
