I purchased as WS90 sensor array which had a piezo rain gauge inbuilt but I found the gauge accuracy to be wanting. Ecowitt manual recommended the WH40(H) if I needed greater accuracy. I purchased the newer H version which has a higher rain cup as we get very heavy rain here. It also included bird spikes and the gauge filter to stop debris from entering the measurement cup. Easiest of installs and paired with the console immediately on power up. I highly recommend this product if you want an accurate gauge of the traditional type.
Connected phone to device Wi-Fi. Entered home Wi-Fi info. Connected to device webpage. It took less than 1 minute. Had it sending data to WUnderground 1 minute later.

Recibido en España en 9 días. Sorprende el tamaño en comparación con el que incluye la estación (mas grande). Solamente necesita una pila tipo AA para funcionar. Vinculada a una estación Froggit HP1000SE PRO, funcionando sin problemas. Ahora a esperar que llueva :-)
The WH90 unit rain gauge is proving hopeless compared to the WH40. The WH90 can be out by an order of magnitude some days. Its still hopeless even after trying to calibrate it against the WH40. Forget the haptic units and only use the traditional bucket system
