Quick service : )

Original WS80 (sold by Ambient) failed due to water entering the case and corroding components. Ordered the replacement solar top (now with a rubber o-ring - thank you!) and a replacement T&H sensor for good measure. Further inspection showed a completely corroded/ failed super capacitor (5.5V 5F) which I just replaced, but still no joy with the new T&H sensor. I put the old sensor back and it's working again - but not clear if the new sensor was DOA or perhaps more likely a corroded contact where the sensor plugs in. We’ll see how long the fix lasts! I would have preferred to order the entire sensor package, but shipping for that unit was not available to my address in the US (though the solar panel and T&H sensor arrived just fine)

Thanks!

Hi
We had a very good service, we were very well informed and the part works perfectly, we are very happy that our weather station is working well now.
Thank you very much

SHT30 Temp & Hygr

Old one gave up.
Plugged this one and bingo, back with outdoor temp. Didn't even need to reset anything.

Perfect Fit

Plugged right into our WS80BN sensor array on our WS5000 from Ambient Weather.

Easy to install. Just unscrew and remove the cover from over the sensor, pull the old one straight out and plug the new one in. Couldn't be easier.

Worth a try

The sensor didn’t fix the problem of no temp or humidity reading on my display
