Note: Shipment is expected in mid-November.
This accessory replaces the original LDS01 battery power module when indoor USB power is available, providing continuous power to the device. The USB plug and external power supply are not waterproof and must be kept indoors or in a completely dry, protected location.
Product Information
• Compatible product: LDS01.
• Sold separately: This accessory is sold separately. The LDS01 and USB power adapter are not included.
• Package contents: 1 × USB power replacement module with integrated dummy-battery module, 1.5 m cable, and USB-A plug.
• Recommended use: For installations where the USB plug can be routed indoors and fewer battery changes are desired.
Waterproofing Boundary
IMPORTANT: The USB plug, USB power adapter, and their connection are not waterproof. Use them only indoors or in a completely dry, protected location.
When correctly installed, with the seals properly seated and the battery compartment cover tightened evenly, the dummy-battery module on the LDS01 side provides the same water resistance as the original battery-powered configuration. This statement does not apply to the USB power end.
Installation and Use
1 Disconnect Power
Do not connect the USB plug to a power source during installation. Stabilize the LDS01 and do not disassemble it while powered.
2 Open the Battery Compartment
Loosen the battery compartment cover screws as described in the LDS01 main unit manual. Keep the screw sealing washers safe, then remove the original battery power module.
3 Install the Replacement Module
Insert the dummy-battery module fully in the same orientation as the original module and confirm proper contact. Arrange the cable so it is not pinched, sharply bent, or pulled.
4 Restore the Seal
Make sure the sealing surfaces are clean and the seals are correctly seated and undamaged. Refit the battery compartment cover and tighten all screws evenly.
5 Connect Indoor Power
Route the USB plug to a dry indoor location, then connect it to a USB power source that meets the product requirements. Confirm that the LDS01 starts normally and displays measurement data.
