Nice price, no instructions

I upgraded from the Ecowitt GW1100 Wi-Fi Weather Station Sensor Gateway and was excited to have more functionality. Both the WN1980 display and WS90 weather station came with NO instructions at all. I'm a weather enthusiast and have had weather stations for 50+ years, so I was able to figure out how to set it up. But a novice retiree would definitely have some issues. It still was a bit dicey to setup and I eventually got it.
PROS: Nice display and weather station for the price with a lot of features and able to add a other Ecowitt devices.
CONS: Instructions are non-existent and setup it horrible. Mounting is not a standard antenna pole, and you have to purchase a PVC or smaller 1" mounting pole. I've had a haptic sensors before (rain, wind) with my WeatherFlow Tempest Weather System, so I know what to expect as not so accurate. But waiting to see after a few days how the Ecowitt does with wind and rain.
Other than that not bad for the price and nice compact weather system.
